Been looking online and cant find a pic or part num for a SD truck. I would probably go with dual fans in a shroud.
Call and give them the radiator dimensions. The shroud they make fits like a glove. It also looks great. I had some pics of the ones SSOR uses but I don't know if I forgot to D/L them or what.Been looking online and cant find a pic or part num for a SD truck. What exactly happened here???I'm done F-in with this truck. Just been fading from dream to nightmare. Not sure what else to do other than face it and drive on to somthing else.
He is right.I have the flex lite duals and they won't keep up towing a empty 3 horse Circle J with living qtrs.Trailer weighs right around 10k.I got her hot couple times. They said they would make me one. I didnt catch the name of the person I talked with but he had plenty to say. The main reason he advised against it was the fact I use it to pull heavy.
1 large frustration? MY TRANS DOES NOT shift right. I dont care who tells me, or how much more I $pend, talking to other people. It should go from 1-2-3-OD, with actual shift points in between. And when OD hits it should not slam so hard things fly around in the cab. It's done this from mile zero and all I've heard from my concerns are "thats just the way" blah, blah. Full Billet POS....What were all the little things pushing you this far over the edge?.....
Thanks:happymugs
your not the only one that the front crank seal went bad. Mine did also. Thats when I did the fan. 2 weeks agoGetting the fan and such figured out should not be that hard. I have to pull the whole front end apart anyways to 1) fix the front crank seal, 2) make a new upper rad hose that doesent look dorky, 3) figure out some way to get all my pullies in line so the %&%&%&% belt will quit squeeking. Either fan setup will just go back in while it's all appart.
I should appologise than. I was one that said you should go that route. Then I was under the impression my issues were just a quick tweek away. And I thought for ease of app. that it would be the best/quickest and hold the best power for you. In addition: I believe that my issues are an isolated incident.Man! Everyone recommended that setup to me.
Well I got a call from Matt this am and he had a clutch for me to use. It's back on the road and ready for the next fix I guess.your not the only one that the front crank seal went bad. Mine did also. Thats when I did the fan. 2 weeks ago

Keep me in the loop on how the fans work out for you. I may go that route when/if we pull everyting back apart to do new turbos and fix some other stuff, like the front seal.
If there is anyone out there with a good trick for getting all these pullies in line I'm all ears.
No worries Brian. I was going that route. I was at SC getting ready to drop a small fortune when I got a great deal on the Allison. I really hope you get it all sorted out.I should appologise than.
