Your firewall is closer to the turbo, the SD has more distance from turbo to firewall.

Massage the heck out of the Firewall and you can squeeze it in there....but be prepared to beat the daylights out of the firewall...

Yes, if you want to go with a 4” pipe and give the tranny plenty of room you will end up with a mod similar to this..

its only a 3" pipe
