Damn you firedog, you made me drool all over my keyboard with the cars in your sig :woot:
HAHA no problem. Cobra has been in the shop for way too long. I'm finally going to pick it up today. It made 740rwhp and 645 rwtq on 20lbs of boost. Hopefully it will be making closer to 800 when they are done. Had some fuel related issues.

Back on topic. What tunes are available to purchase with these delete pipes?

Help us poor CA folks out. Now that Smog is Req i have heard of several road side emissions check points set up. It would be nice if someone made a DPF/DOC look a like system that was hollow and had the delete option so you didn't get a fine if you got pulled over but still could have the benefits of the delete option. My 08 is full delete and between the MPG and power I would not have it any other way just hate to get a fine for it if it could be avoidable. Since I plan on getting a 6.7 in the future I would want to set it up with a delete but limit my exposure to a fine if possible.

Just a thought!!!

Anybody have any plans for that????????
If your belching black smoke out the exhaust, they probably will figure out really fast you have no DPF!

ok, Rudy, what tuning is necessary to run the DPF delete? And can you still run the urea if you don't care to eliminate it for now?

Let's say I buy a dpf delete pipe, what do I do with the three or four plugs that currently connect to the cat, and dpf, is the dpf delete pipe a str8 pipe, or is there dummy sensors for these connectors.
unplug their wiring harness and presto

I would suggest packing the plugs with dielectric grease to prevent corrosion should the pipe/sensors ever need to be plugged back in for some reason. But to answer the question, no dummy sensors or simulators need to be plugged in. I did build a few pipes that have sensor bungs, if you better about leaving them plugged in so you don't just have plugs with nothing plugged into them.

With proper tunning and driving style you don't belch black smoke!!!! My 6.4 barely smokes unless I want it to with the 210 spartan tune.

My point being that if you pulled into one of these road side inspections and you had a gutted DPF/CAT they wouldn't know on visual only and that is all they do in the roadside inspections currently. My friend got pulled over the other day and the CHP looked under his truck to make sure the CAT was there (this was a pre DPF diesel). With $10K fines being threaten it would nice to have the visual part covered is my point.
