My friend has a early 99 f350 7.3 well what we have found out is theres no chip that will go over 80 or 85 horse. would the dptuner be able to do that hes looking at getting atleast 100 horse or little more Kinda pointless to get one that doesnt make that much more.

On a stock early 99 if he wants a play program he will most likely see better usable power in the 100-120hp range. Anything over that will be up to how good the stock parts are going to hold up to what is called for in the higher hp levels.

If you want a little more power than a chip alone can offer, throw a set of DIY Stage 1's in it and have Jody tune for them.

well what you guys recomend doing to it after we put a dptuner on its just gonna be a street truck maybe a oacasional truck pull
