today I took of the hose on the intake side of the turbo on my dt466c and found some white looking powder like sand,
the truck was sitting for almost a year,I think its corrosion,
my question is how to clean or remove it without damaging
the blades, or just run it???

Do not touch the blades themselves, you can wipe out the inlet housing snorkle with a damp cloth.

thanks ,that is what I was thinking too.after closer look at the rubber
boot that goes from air cleaner to the turbo I found a trail where moisture had seeped past the clamp and run down the inside the boot.
