On the Silverado and Chevy emblems on the tailgate.


Are there holes underneith the emblems?


How hard is the sticky stuff to take off?

It doesn't matter what you like hah, it's not yours to debadge. I did the same thing with my Dad's silverado before he gave it to me, he made me buy glue and put them back on.

If your Dad doesnt want it done, dont do it.
As a father, I have to admit I dont like your attitude about him or HIS truck.



But, if you convince him to do it, use a heat gun (CAREFULLY) to warm the emblems up, and use a piece of fishing line to "saw" the adhesive tape in half. Clean the rest of the tape off with some form of adhesive cleaner (test on a small area first..dont want paint coming up, too) and give the entire area a good coat of wax afterward.

i did it to the stroke before it was mine to drive when i wanted and my mom and dad actually thought it looked cleaner. i only did it on the powerstroke emblem though. its stuck on the armrest right now lol it looks cool

My dad is a funny guy. He just doesnt like exterior mods. I know he would like it though. At first he would be like WTF!!! then he would say it actually looks better. :)
