I have heard of wiring a switch to the EBPV and being able to use it as an engine break.. do i have to gut the ebpv or can it be done the way it is? I have never seen anyone around where i live do it so i know pretty much nothing about it but would like to try it

No you do not have to gut anything. I made up my own system by useing 2 relays and a switch. When I activate it my switch controls it and when I switch it off the ECM controls it. All you have to do is unplug the ebv at the base of the turbo and tee this system into it.
