Hi guys ive had my truck spartan tuned for about 2 years now I've done a few other updates I have a cold side intercooler tube a dual disk clutch traction bars and an air intake, since I run the 250 tune I've been thinking about an egr delete I think this is probably on here somewhere but Im just wondering about the pro's and con's of a full delete kit and just the block off kit I realize the full delete kit comes with a waste gate but what other major differences are there. Thanks

You can get a full EGR delete kit without the wastegate. It allows you to fully remove the EGR coolers from the truck. That is what I run on my personal truck with the CFM+ intake elbow. No problems at all and I have over 20,000 miles on this setup. It is not an easy install though. You would be looking at a 5 hour minimum install time with the cab on more than likely.

I am not a fan of blocker plates. They are easier to install, but they are just a band-aid in my opinion.

I run the kit Elite makes, and yes it was done while the cab was off. I did the EGR delete when I did studs and ported fuel rails.

I believe the install is pretty straight forward, it's just time consuming with the cab on. If you have all the necessary tools on hand and don't run into problems, you should be able to knock it out on a Saturday or Sunday afternoon.
