What does the police package do for the excursion? does it add any go fast?

higher output alt (for emergency equipt)
improved suspension package for better handling
i direct 12v conection under the pass dash
rubber floor liner vs carpet

but as far as engine wise chevy was the only one to ever up the engines in "interceptors" that was the caprice with the lt1 engine and aluminum heads
man they were fast
im pretty sure ford never advanced the engines on the police packages

On the P71 Crown Vics there was a little engine tweak but not much. I think from '98 on up the interceptor's engine was 235 hp, while the civillian 4.6 was only 200-210. It also has true dual exhaust and an aluminium driveshaft, and the beefed up suspension. I only know this because my dad has a 98 Police Interceptor.
As for the excursion, I don't think there have been any engine upgrade to them.

Pretty sure the Police CV's had lower rear ends also to aid off the line.

I have an 05 EX cop truck.. rubber matting.. plug ins.. no over head trip computer. Front/ rear heated Lariat leather seats. No rear seat... back doors are.. well.. Windows dont roll down but they power lock with the fob or driver/passenger lock switch. Rear wind vent.. was removed and covered with some trupe of equipment they were using. V10 runs great.. I'm 6'1" and its still taller than me. Not sure they lowered the rear.
