The FICM in my truck fried probably around a year ago. I have been reading a lot that the inductive heating flash is really hard on the FICM. These things are not cheap I think I payed like $1,400 (including diagnosis, part, labor). I just don't want this to happen again, I would rather pay $200 and get my FICM flashed by ID.
Now to my question how can I figure out what flash I have? So I will know if it's the old inductive heating or the newer flash that's "easier" on the FICM.
