Well I finally broke down and opted for getting rid of 2 cylindersLOL Too bad I had to dump all of that money into the 6.0 and 5R110, now I'm using neither!:bang

Here are the Specs
My 2006 F350+

07 5.9 CR Motor with a toasted Cylinder, rebuilt from the ground up with:

-12v Rods
-New Pistons .020 over
-110lb Valve Springs
-Fully balanced rotating assembly
-ARP Studs
-90 Horse Sticks
-Diesel Pro Towing Cam
-Custom Built GOS Compounds

-ZF6 Trans
-Southbend 3250 DD
-FASS 150
-Destroked Plate
-Destroke Billet Oil Filter Relocate kit

I'm after a 650ish horse daily driver that I can pull my toys around with:thumbsup

Just a little teaser, will post more pics after the weekend!:wtf

Its a daily driver, never spending any time on the track, never going to be hooked to a sled, and if the need arises, I'd like the clutch to be manageable for anyone to drive, not have to be hulk hogan to rally it:rock
Looks nice so far Aden. If the wife's 6L ever goes "Tango Uniform" in the Ex...perhaps I'll have to consider that swap.

Who you calling Aden, Dave?:wave LOL

Sneak peak on the twins

Here is a sneak peak on the twins... For now I'm going to run a stock over 474 setup, and down the road swap out the stocker for a PS 62/70. This is with a mockup motor sitting under my hood, my motor is back from the machine shop and fully assembled other than waiting on my cam:swear

We have them custom made right here in the great state of MT!:happymugs
looks like its gonna be one heck of a truck. im unsure if i want to A. build up my 7.3, B. drop a 12v in it, C. just buy a 97 dodge.

It all depends on what you want to do with it, biggest problem with building up a Powerstroke is after you eventually get the big power you want... Fuel mileage, reliability, and usability all starts to fade away... whereas with a Cummins, in your case a 12v, you can have the big power, reliability, and still have it usable for whatever along with getting awesome mileage. Just my 2 cents, been there done that, with both a 7.3 and a 6.0!:rantoff :popcorn

Over the weekend...

Got my cam in, motor set, painless harness strung out and loomed up (looks good too), got my valve lash all set, got my heater hoses plumbed, put the factory Ford Upfitter switches installed (just had the little cubby hole before) and some more odds and ends! Was going to get my clutch and tranny in but went to mount up my flywheels and the bolts were too long and bottomed out:gaah So the guys at Southbend... being the great guys that they are... are sending me the correct length bolts!:goodvsevil

Can't wait to have my wheels back!!!!!:peelout
