what is that sound when you let off the accelerator?

Sounds like the turbo to me and that would take some getting used to.....

It does sound wicked at idle and under acceleration though..........

simply amazing that you guys already have this done.........congrats and well done!
Great job guys..
Ummm...
Who was the guy who said it would take Matt and Nut 6 months?
I already forgot his name.

I personally think it needs a straight thru muffler cut in to the system to smooth out the nasty vacuum sound and other "rough" edges. I bet it will sound grrreat then..
A 24" MBRP worked wonders on the horrible sound my truck made when I straight piped it.

Same sound my LBZ makes when i get into it and let out quick, its the turbo vanes closing quickly, sounds almost exactly like mine straight-piped with LB7 idle tuned in

Me. And I said at least six months. ;)

If the video stuff turns out to be true on the complete deletes already, I'll be happy to eat crow and say I was wrong. And it certainly looks that way. Far from having to figure out all the checksums on a locked up ECU, it looks like the aftermarket already had all that from Ford before the 6.7L trucks even hit the lots. Surprised me.

If you were reading along, Matt had access to the truck months ago. Tunes are ready right now.
Given the guys at Spartan have a truck in their shop, look for lots of power updates over the coming weeks.
