Changing out ball joints is not hard, I found the hard part to be installing the axel seals. After much trial and some error, I found this to be a fast and safe method to install the seals.

After removal of the old axel seal, I placed the axel down through the center of a large wire spool with the nuckle at the top. Position the new seal.I then used 2 12 inch "c" clamps. Slide the fixed part of the clamp into the space aside of the nuckle and make it snug. Be carefull not to damage the outside ring on the seal. Put the other "c" clamp opposite the first. Slowly snug them up take turns on both clamps the seal slid right down into place.

When installing the seal into the spindle housing I lightly lubed it and used a 12 inch piece of 2 and a half inch electrical conduit use the bell end to push on the seal. It also slid right into place.
