Does someone make a kit with everything needed to rebuild the front suspension on the 2wd trucks? Or is it a piece by piece deal at my local parts store? I've search and found nothing, also a friend of mine did his and told me he wanted to end his life halfway through it, is it really that bad?

Ya if nothing has been changed for a while. I re-did everything on my 2wd. Make sure you have the tools to do the job. I'd just buy all MOOG stuff. I saved a post on another website that has all the part numbers so you can just order online if you want. I think it was comp diesel .com or something I got these from. It's a job that might take ya all day, but the end result is very much worth it. It'll drive like a wet dream. When I re-did mine I did brakes, struts, bearings everything though.

Advanced Auto Parts is suppose to start stocking the stuff in 2008 sometime. Is that true? I doubt it. But that's what they say.

I figured someone would've had a kit put together with everything already.

Probably the reason there isn't a kit is because some of the individual parts cost alot! The Pitman arm I think runs around 100 and you don't want to buy a whole kit just for the pitman arm. A kit might cost 1000 bucks.

I priced buying everything individually at the parts store and it was about $700 +/- if I remember right.

Well alittle FYI on parts stores, Autozone used to carry Dana parts, then they just kind of re boxed their own junky ball joints and tie rods in Dana boxes. I don't even know if they still do that, I think it's just Duralast now. I think they've done away with Dana. Advanced is suppose to be stocking Moog which I'm a big fan of, but I'm not seeing anything. Not sure what Napa is but that's what my Idler and Pitman arm were on my 98 and did run into an issue with their Idler if my memory serves me correctly. That probably doesn't help you. But I figure I'd throw that out there.
