sensor screws into the back side of the fuel filter housing, did you remove the rock screen and clean out the housing? Fuel pressure could be low causing the light to come on.

The fuel pressure IS low, remove the "rock catcher" from the BOTTOM of the fuel filter housing, clean the screen and re-install. This is THE SINGLE biggest problem with the "newer" DTs, no one cleans the screen!

thanks guys cleaning the screen worked out fine
