ok ao what dose anybody know about how the injection pump changes the timeing and can that break or go to far inside the pump or something like that

I guess your referring to the fact of early model VP44 pumps were known for failing from enhancement boxes. There was a problem with close clearances and burring problems that cause the rotor to seize up.

As for newer pumps there isn't much problems now... :popcorn:

Just taking a stab here...

no im just trying to figure out wat is up with my truck i have the pump off it didnt break the key and the pump looks fine i need some ideas

Well since you got it of you could take it to a Bosch dealer and have it bench tested and see if it failed...:popcorn:

I'm quite shocked you puled the VP44 off the engine...:shrug:

there not that hard to take off as a matter of fact i have the hole front end off the gear that the pump gose on was messed up so i pulled the front cover off its not that hard to do just a few bolts
