I have a 7.3 PSD in a 1996 E-350. Does this van use a mechanical and an electric fuel pump? Thanks

If it is the same pump as the truck engines it will be located at top/rear of the engine. It might be partially under the turbo. I've never seen a van PSD engine, so I don't know if some things were moved around due to lack of space under the hood.

it's in the same place as a truck however this is one of the few jobs that is easier to do on a van because of the doghouse.

the e-350 van uses the same mecahanical pump the trucks use. its in the v of the block. Its actuated by a pump foot/rod that rides on a camshaft lobe. If you need a pump check with napa or carqwest, i have used both with good luck.
