Where can I get the connector tubes that go into the head.. I think I kinda messed it up when I pulled it out... The #1 injector tube is leaking... Does anyone know where I can get a new connector tube?????

You can get stock tubes from Cummins. You can also get oversized tubes from Haisley Machine.

Have you taken it back apart to see if it is damaged? If so what is damaged about it? Are you sure your injector is not just turned the wrong way and not aligned properly?

I agree with Bill. You may not have it seated completely either. Just take it loose and reseat it and see if that helps.

It should be properly aligned, there is only really one way it can go in. With that said, having it seat all the way down is probably your most likely problem. I assume it is leaking at the injector itself? If your tube is damaged, like bouncer said, there are options, you aren't SOL, but it always sucks doing damage to your truck. Good luck, I hope you get it worked out without much issue.

I think I found out the issue.. When I installed the connector tube I think I damaged the O ring... I is really messed up and there is a small part of the o ring torn off.. I went ahead and ordered me the high flow injectors from Haisley anyway...

It can go in 180* where the opening is on the opposite side, or am I incorrect?

No, that opening has to be in the correct location or else it won't squeeze down, well not willingly. You could force it which would definitely damage your connecter tubes, but it would be a struggle. They really don't want to seat in the wrong direction.

I guess what I'm saying is yeah it will drop in but it won't seat. If you did get it to seat, you'd be in a world of hurt, and anyone that forceful on their truck shouldn't be working on it.

I was just wondering. I have never purposly tried to put a set in backwards to find out so I really didn't know.

Its all good, yeah, I accidentially got one swapped around backwards once, it was late at night, and it just didn't want to fit, so I pulled it back up, and it was facing the wrong direction.

yeah I checked on the injectors and they are facing the correct direction.,.. it would be kinda hard to put them in the wrong way.. The keeper would never work and the connector tube would never go in... I am pretty sure that it is the O ring on the connector tube... it was messed up pretty good... Hi flow connector tubes are supposed to be here Wednesday though... How much more fuel is this going to have than the stock connector tubes.????:shrug:

You really aren't going to notice that much of an increase in power, if any at all. Most people do notice a lopey idle which is caused by these larger tubes decreasing the injection pressure at idle. Therefore makes the injector harder to pop. Also some people have noticed that their trucks will not idle and die when instaling them. Although that seems to be rare. You will more than likely get the lope though.
