Well, your buddy has gotten it good.. I have a friend who bought a car with 240k miles on it and he had to replace his battery, coil packing and module, and tires. I mean I guess it depends on how well you treat your car.

1 radiator- after tuning
replaced driver seat- ordered parts from the seat shop-
2 sets tires
has a drip on upper radiator hose right now, hoping to get it fixed this week
it just started throwing a code- p0625- generator output teminal low voltage
haven't figured it out yet, but i am looking
