It kind of depends on what truck you have. The autos are different from the manuals. however, an auto should be 225hp and a manual should be 235hp, anyone feel free to correct me if im wrong. That is in BHP or flywheel horsepower, not hp at the wheels. It will also say on the engine data plate on the side of your engine, and on that data plate, it will give the RPM at which that horse power figure is obtained.

215hp for the auto according to the ID plate on my truck.

some of the years are different hp. 235 for the 5 speeds 245 for the 6 speed(some years you could get a 6 speed 235) 225 for the auto and this is for 02. some of the frist 24v auto were 215. someone tell me if i'm wrong.

Well, mine is a 99 with an automatic, and the stock bhp is 225, and 130 at the wheels. Maybe that will help.

This is correct for a 99...I have owned a 99 auto and my dad owns a 99 5spd.
