Yeah i'm 99% sure you can run 35's with just a leveling kit.

It depends on the width, but something like a 35 12.5 will rub on the control arm a little bit. Not too bad though. If you go with something like 35 11.5 it shouldn't rub. Or go with a 3inch leveling spring, you can clear 36's no problems with the leveling spring and an add-a-leaf in the rear.

thats what i was thinkin, the width is goning to be the 12.5's because i dont like skinny tires, not that there bad i just dont like the way that they look. anyway about that smarty i know its kind of a shot in the dark but i got an idea of how the smarty will run but i think it would be cool if i could see a video of a smarty on a stock pickup cause thats what i would be doin, or if some one has expericed a smarty on a stock pickup. i know its a lot to ask but you guys a pretty good about give really good feed back so what every you got to say lets hear it!!

I have a coil spacers on my truck and BDS shock all the way around and I run a BFG A/T 315/70 r 17 which is a 35x12.5 (i think) and i have no clearance issues. I love this tire bc it doesnt wear funny and no sound from it at hwy speeds.

Oh and as for the Smarty..See if you can find someon near you that sells them and ask if you can demo it. Just say your interested but you dont want to purchase it before you try it. Hopefully there is a dealer close to you.

thats right those are 35's. iwould like to get the same tire but its goin to be a pain to find one i like because the dude that had the pickup before me thought he needed to put 16.5x10's on it. the width is fine but the 16.5 makes it hard to find some rubber. what was the price of those tires, in the ball park is close enough. sweet! thanx

Yeah I agree, the 35x12.50 look way better, they do rub a little bit, but personally Its not enough to worry.

As far as smarty is concerned you could probably do pretty well with it stock, what are you looking to get out of it is the main question. If you want an all-in-one deal with the scan tool and everything, then you have no other option. If you are looking for straight up power, I think there are better ways to go for starters. But smarty does have some really great features.

my main idea behind getting rid of my 2 chips i have now and getting the smarty is to not only make some fun smoke but also do mainly stop light to stop light racing, every once in a blue moon i pull my dads 32ft goose neck full of cows but not much but i also found a edge comp on ebay brand new for 500 from clark county diesel. its like a kid in a candy store and the money is sayin ha ha wait and wait.......... :splat

Find a Drag comp, thats the way to go. More fueling than smarty. It'll fry your trans though.

That can't be a light load, a 32 foot goose neck with cattle. I've had a load of cattle get up to 18.5 pretty quick.

its not a light load but it can be do able, the comp was an option also and its cheaper wich i like. now understanding it? i know it has a sub level or something to that extent. how does all that work, cause i woldnt think that it could be that complex. and i also understand if i dont tap the pump wire it is the equivanet to the ez right? sorry about all the [email protected] but this stuff is the most interesting thing that i got hooked on in a long time:Thumbup:

I paid $1100 for my tires and that was a tad more because I got this warranty thing they had which I think I paid $100 for so w/o that around $1000.

The comp has 5 power levels and each power level has a sub-level where you can adjust low boost fueling for like if you have injectors. Level 1 is the least responsive or lowest smoke which gives you 33% fuel @ 0psi ad then 100% at at 20 psi and the increases as you go up to level 5 which is 100% fuel at 0 psi. I think this is right, please correct me if I'm wrong. And yes if you dont tap your pump level one is just the same as an EZ however levels 2-5 are still usable but you will not get any more power gain then from level 1 its just the power comes quicker as you increas power levels
