Troubleshooting an IDM wiring harness and I have a 97 manual but my truck is a 96 and I believe the pin locations are different. This is a troubleshooting graph from the service manual but my ISIS dvd says 97 on and some of the pins are not there, can anyone help and provide me with a 94-96 version?here is a link to a picture of the 97 versionhttp://www.flickr.com/photos/[email protected]/5452369472Thanks Bert

it,s an international, I dont think they are the same.

I know, they are the same, well close enough to work. The IH ECMs have FORD p/ns and the Ford IDMs have IH p/ns

this is good to know. I assumed ford did their own electronics. Are the engine wiring harness the same also,I havnt looked at a ford.

The early ones were very similar but are not interchangable w/o a lot of work. Ford used a large square-ish engine connector and IH used a round cannon plug.
