Had some fun today at Diesel Performance Motorsports and Garmon's Diesel. As always David and Jeff were great hosts and we beat on the Duramax pretty good for a new best.

Over 800 ponies on just nitrous, no propane. Totally uncorrected numbers too, it was a perfect day on the dyno.

Here is a vid of the fun with some drag racing passes too.

A big thanks to Kennedy Diesel and DPM for all the help getting it done! :thanks:

Wow......

.....Hey, can you make some kind'a post where the truck model is shown and the graph? I had several folks at Walker Dynotune Home ask me about how much TQ these trucks could have. I told them the graph went flat and they just laughed. ....something I could show them in person would be nice. Well, that and a link on the paper. .....I want to print it out.

Rich,

You can save the image and print it if you like. Otherwise I could mail you a copy if you like. Are you looking for a picture of the truck with the sheet or what?

We calculated out to high 1500's on one run and we hit low 1600's on another. David might remember the exact numbers.

No problem on getting the CD going! :woot:

On edit: Brandon, I have a big hp nitrous Mustang guy here that's very impressed with your numbers and is curious what your 1/8th is.....if you care to divulge.

We gained about 50 from the last best. It was the first 800 HP diesel
rolled on the DPM dyno too..

No way I could let that 12V stomp my last big number. ;)

Thanks Andy! We did try to run the new Dynojet software so we could have plotted the torque but it just did not want to cooperate.

Twas a fun day for sure...

I'm not sure what I can talk about and can't but I'll say the HX35 and 370's were the ticket to making the big power.

The other thing we found out is boost guages respond to the pressure of being filmed. Brandon's gauge responded to the camera with zero stage fright and just did it's job.

And there is more left too...

Great job really does go out to Brandon, John Kennedy and Sun Coast. This is one very strong truck, with bottle or without
