so I hear that the inherent problme in an lb7 is the injector seal, or something of that nature, what exactly is the problem? and what all is needed to repair it, both dealer cost and if one was to do it one's self, because I feel that if I were to get a duramax, it would need to be an lb7 (egr is the enemy) and by the time I would be in the market that 7 year 200k mile rule would be out of the question. thanks in advance

The injectors pit out. Bad design, and hard to get to. The EGR on any year truck can be disabled really easily. I have a california LB7 and it has an EGR but it doesnt effect anything as I have it blocked and turned off the with EFIlive.
