Dude, that looks nice!!!
I did the same to mine two weeks ago but I went one step farther, after cleaning with a wire wheel I poished them with jewlers rouge and a cotton wheel on my grinder. I don't know how long they will look good but WOW that is some BLING BLING!!!!!!!!!
Thats just a start like I said I have a long way to go... thats just the wire wheel, then with a stripping bit (Round black porous material) then I power sanded with a 250 grit, which made a HUGE difference!
Next comes a round of 1000 grit, and a 2000grit wetsand.
A bit of elbo grease will go into the rubbing compuond, then a buffing compound.
After that I plan on cleaning and applying 6-10 coats of High-Temp clear rated at 500 Deg. then one more round of buffing compound.
If this goes well, I may do the compressor housing on the next turbo and associated hardware. Unfortunatly that will likely come with new IC tubing so I'll have to start over.
Maybe I can do the x-pipe and e-bay'em when its new turbo time.
