Guys i always wanted to pull,but when i go to the events i never see a ford in the comp. Was wondering is it cause of low HP levels,or do they just break to much. I have an 05 dually with an sct and it feels strong Ijust wonder what those dodges and chevys are puttin out ,that I would be to far behind?

i have beat duramax's with efi live, and dodge's with smarties. I have beat both and was beaten by them. It comes down to a lot more than horsepower. I would do it if i where you, just because it is fun. That is the coolest part. Feeling your truck getting down and going. Win or loose i have fun.

Like the blue beast said, alot of it comes dow nto more than just HP. When I was pulling with my LB7, there were more than couple times 6.0 and 7.3 trucks put distance on me.

It's not all about the hp, it's getting the hp to the ground. You can all the hp in the world, but if you can't put it to the ground and get it to hook up, it aint gonna do ya much good.

You couldn't be more wrong. I pulled at least a dozen times without head studs with a race file and never blew my gaskets. Just cause he has no studs doesn't mean he's gonna blow gaskets. The chance is greater, but that's about it.

well hey darin 6l strokin pulled afew times.... with 190cc's turbo wheel SCT on stock head bolts he seemed to do ok..... a 6.0 does sound bad arse going dowqn the track with aload on it. Go out there have agood time...! thats whats its all about.....

I know my truck is nothing compared to Brent's but here is a vid of my truck pulling back in August. I left the line too hard and just sat there and fried the tires. And towards the end of the run i ended up blowing a intercooler hose off at the inlet.
