These are some that belonged to my dad and grandpa.
Red 1978 A model Kenworth, 400 cummins, Roadranger 13 speed
Gold 1979 A model Kenworth, 350 cummins, Roadranger 13 speed
Red 1974 White Road Boss, 350 cummins, Roadranger 13 speed, and I still have it. First truck my dad drove. Major PIA getting parts for it since Volvo swallowed White back in the early 80's.
I liked the looks and room under a superliner hood, but I'd take take an R model anyday.. Best trucks Mack ever built IMO and should have just hung it up when they discontinued them..
Great lookin' ride! Red interior reminds me of my '92. liked just about everything about it,just should've swapped in a 18918 trans. to go with the 3.70's and a might still be driving it. 5.8mpg n over 600ponies,better than todays tecno-junk.
Where do you run 359kool? I have seen a truck lately that looks very much like yours running up 45 in MS lately. It was also pulling a flatbed. Maybe it was just a look a like, but, it would be kool if it were you.
