Here is the 50 pete my wife says she bought for me! Its pretty rough as you can see. I hope to get started working on it next fall after the harvest are done. I'll try to get some more pics up soon this is just one I had on my phone. I haven't made up my mind wether to put it back orignal or hotrod it. My son is a old iron nut and thinks it should go back stock.especially since he thinks he gonna own it one day, but I'm more or a hotrodder. I might put the body back stock and just put it all on a more modern drivetrain. We got a line on a old freuhough aluminum sided box trailer from the early 50's that we would like to get and put a small living quaters in the front and haul one of our old tractors in the back when we go to the threshing bees. Right now its got a old cummins with the gear driven supercharger on it. not sure what size those were. Its before the PT fuel system though. The injection pump looks like a large beehive with the injection lines running out the top and its mounted behind the air compressor and is connected to the air comp. by a chain to drive it. Dont Know if it runs or not but the engine isn't siezed. Has a 5x4 set of sticks in it and the old timken top loader rearends. If any of you are familiar with Yakima WA this is the truck that sat out front of a house on 16 ave just south of nobhill blvd for the last twenty years. There used to be a cabover of about the same year there also. I remember seeing it for the first time as a kid when I went Yakima for a soccer tournament when I was in about the third grade and it was still sitting in the same spot when I picked it up last winter.
