We all know Fords limited slip is a piece. Mine has never worked. Do you guys think if I add a friction modifier, it will help at all? thanks

These problems ya'll are having... does this mean it won't lock at all?? I noticed my last lawnjob had 1 rut.

Nope. Friction modifier will REDUCE friction. You can try changing the fluid and NOT adding any modifier back in. More adventurous is to add shims or change the plate sequence to increase friction. The ultimate answer is to switch out the gears for a locker. I've changed the fluid in mine and put Royal Purple back in with no modifier and haven't really been able to test it in snow yet but seems to have helped some from what I've seen on wet grass.

what do you mean if you can live with it

I think he means it will probably chatter when you make turns and stuff.
If it does...just add a bit of friction modifier to it at a time till it gets to where you can live with it.

I had ordered a Detroit Locker for mine...till I rode in an F350 with one installed...no way I could live with that every day.
