Just bought a used sct livewire with canned tunes.. Went to instal and when I select program vehicle says vehicle not supported... What I need to do??? Dying to get tunes on this thing so I can put my exhaust on!
Also if I don't feel like mounting the gauge yet I assume I just unplug when it's done downloading (after I figure out how to get it downloaded) lol
thanks!!

A buddy of mine had the same thing happen. He had an older livewire unit and the software on it would not support the 6.4. He called SCT and they asked for the serial number. I guess if your unit is too old, that it wont take the 6.4 update. After determining that his unit would support the update, the told him he could send it in and they could update it to support the 6.4 for a fee.

It recognizes it as being a 6.4 tho cause it has all the 6.4 prompts.. Just when it's ready to start programming says error...

And came with 6.4L instructions so should be something simpler than that I would think..

Oh ok, then his is for the 6.4. So you wont have to go through that. But sounds like you may have an issue with the livewire unit inself. Have you checked for updates on SCT's page?

Well... Finally got it loaded up!! Basically tried forever finally got everything downloaded right restarted computer again and worked!! Loaded the extreme off road version with dpf still on until I have time to get exhaust on now.. Couple things...
Took 2450 miles to regen first time and took like 5 mins... Took 100 miles with tuner and was on 20 min and never went off when i got home... I was driving easy while it said cleaning... Are you supposed to drive it harder to get it to finish cleaning?
Also... It pulls friggin hard now and hard to take off without rocketing away... Howver even with all the increased throttle response, power, trac control off... Doesn't really spin flooring it... I figured it would burn em off nailing it from a dig...?? Especially with some bald 34s!

You shouldn't be running it with a dpf installed. It is a dpf delete tune and will run better when you get all that crap off the truck. Also it will be a big difference when you get Eric to do some custom tunes for you. I told you that you had to do the updates on the tuner before you could load it on the 6.4.
