My $150 ScanGauge II is more user friendly than this Livewire. It is also powered by the OBD port. It powers down with key off (at least the display goes blank) and then, with key on, it comes back on doing exactly what it was doing before powering off.
The SG II also gives me various trip data which I find useful. The Livewire does not.
And the SG II is "low profile," making it is less susceptible to theft.
However, the SG does not have analog input and it can only display 4 gauges at a time. And, of course, it is not a tuner.
