We had another Dyno Day in Hennessey, OK. We were on a Mustang Dynamometer.

Slick put down 482HP and 838LB-FT with the Edge CTS on Level 5. I didn't go any higher than that. My daily driving tune is Level 3 which resulted in 425HP and 757LB-FT.

I would like to thank D&G and Smokin' Okie (04cumminsram) for putting on the event. I would also like to say it was great seeing so many people turn-out for this one.

Thanks. She's still growing! She just turned 1 last month. I am very happy with it so far.

I'm pretty sure there wasn't enough fuel. I have plenty of ideas. I don't think it's going any further until the Allison gets some attention.

wanta trade straight up for an 06? LOL looks good buddy, not bad power out of a simple plug and play tuner if you had a lift pump you probably see near 500 on level 5.... food for thought :thumbsup

Umm, I think straight-up may be a stretch.

I know. She ran out of fuel on the 482 run. I'm pretty happy and she runs out nice on the DD on Level 3, 425/757.

Edge rates 3 at +80/185 actual 425/757 and 5 at +130/285 actual 482/838. I was surprised.

it seems that the claims dont quite match up with real life.... almost all programmers or chips are like that.. they are more of an estimation of added power, not dyno tested hp levels, i think that Mads is one company that actually uses real dyno into to set their hp levels

I knew the level 3 was decent, didn't think it would put down over 400 actual RWHP though....

The TQ numbers are low because I can't load in lower RPM with the Allison. This was only my second time on a dyno.

Starting your recorded run at a lower RPM and loading the turbo will get boost up and your TQ numbers will be better. Slick can't start a run below 2000RPM or it will downshift. Chum did 932 starting at 1200RPM.

Oh yeah. I ran it twice on 5 for that dyno and that was it. I'm building my first Allison soon. Once I'm sure of my ability to make it live I will pull the Allison in this truck and build it.

Too bad you didn't crank it to level 7 for just one run. It would have been interesting to see if you could have cracked 500 RWHP with just the tuner....

I know it could but I get nervous trying to push hard without a lift pump. I drive that truck when I get away with driving instead of flying for work so I have p-foot it some.
