i like the stacks....are they 6"

 

Yea, they are 6"x36" chrome mitre cuts. I set the t pipe all the way on the bed floor so that highest part of the stack is flush with the cab

 

i like the stacks too. this might be a dumb question but whats the piont of the lope idle other than it sounds good.

 

yeah i like the stack vid too. both sound and looks.

 

I remember reading in another thread on how lope tunes are not good for the engine... so just be careful

Why all the white smoke?

 

My 210 smokes bad at a idle also, why does it smoke so much more than the 275 at a idle? (the 275 barley smokes if at all)

 

I like the look of the stcks but he sound of the Duals.. my 275/310 does not smoke at all at idle

White smoke in the cold=water vapor???

 

White smoke is either incompletely combusted diesel fuel or excessive moisture, (humidity or coolant). The first is the better choice!

 

keep the stacks im gonna go with a single 7 inch or 8 inch stack as soon as i find a resonably priced kit.

 

I wish I would have went with two 7's instead of these two 6's

Also, I would never ruin the resale value of my $50K+ truck by butchering the bed for exhaust pipes/stacks. It's also a sure sign that the truck has been used for more than just carrying groceries home from the store.

Oh, too late! You've already cut the hole(s) in the bed, so I guess you'd better like the stacks and not worry about my or anyone else's opinion.

I still like the sound of the duals!

 

I don't carry groceries, but I'll keep butchering the bed since I paid for it.
