I seen a few posts with cutting the header panel out.. i was going to do this and affix some FROGSKIZ over the holes, Frogskinz is the same material used on the pre filters and has a adhesive backing on it.

but i hadnt seen anyone drill multiple holes in threes.

I just went into googles images online and searched for poka dots and printed off a patern and cut it out and taped it to the header panel. then using a unibit i center spot drilled the hole centers and removed the template and proceded to drill intot the header panel and upsizing to the next larger holes till i got the result i wanted.

it should allow more air and keep any large debris out and help with water/snow..

its an unnoticeable difference, but if you think about it, cold air is being pushed into the engine compartment through the holes. As you know, cool air is more dense then hot air. So on an unconscious level, you pushing more air into each cylinder.

Not to mention, that looks BAD *** MAN!!!
