I know it is not exactly proof, I wish I could introduce some more proof, but the proof is International has been testing these mules since 05 in heavy trucks, light trucks etc. The reason I know, I know people who know people. And my additional point is this, which company out their is running with heavy duty Cgi blocks right now? I am not trying to stir the pot, but I am just like you. I love fords and I love IH and that gives me more reasons to drive a ford. I am no different than a sports fan who supports their, by cheering them on, wearing there gear etc. I will give IH all the support in the world from my standpoint. I expect you to do the same with whomever or whatever you like.


Why do you think Navistar bought MWM years ago in 05? They new what was future of diesel manufacturing and engines as a whole. They would have a plant close to Tupy, Brazil... This may not be the proof you expected but I can go on conspiracy theories all day long and do nothing but talk in circles.

I think it's just modern technology and more manufacturers are using it. GM has it in the new 4.5 liter d max and I am sure others are as well.

I thought Ford and Navistar were having problems (since the failures of the 6.0). I would guess that any cross fertilization we may see is the result of some kind of contractual unwind that Ford presumably has been effecting so they can go it alone now.
