could someone please tell me the minimum temp rating i need the hose to be run run the reg. return fuel syste....the SS braided line is 400 and ive been told the typical rubber fuel line is 212....if i can get by with using the rubber line on the back side im doing that....but if it will melt a hole in 10 mins. i dont want to use it! haha. need to figure out soon so i can place an order to have it tomorrow to work on sat!

nevermind...just got some rubber hose and bought some thermal barrier stuff to put around it thats supposed to raise the temp rating to 500 degrees....

i doubt the rubber hose will melt at 212 since that is the boiling point of water at sea level. your coolant runs through rubber hoses to the degas bottle, as well as your radiator hoses are rubber, and they will withstand temps much hotter than that since pressurized water/coolant boils at a higher temp and trucks have been known to run at over 220 degrees w/out melting the hoses.
