I am sure there are atleast a few of you out there ready to get your hands on a new 6.7L. Here you can discuss tuning options!

Matt, your up!

I'll be ready when you are.
even though i find the truck to be extremely ugly, i'm gonna try to get my dad to get one for the engine/matt and nutty's tuning
I'm kinda digging the grille.
I can't wait to see what the chrome package grille looks like.
I do know Matt has something cooking!
my question is do people like matt and other tuners get to mess with the truck before the gen public or what? kinda curious how they would be prepared for a totally different platform engine etc
i like the front end. The grill should keep the coolers clean. No more grasshoppers and butterflies plugging crap up.

I would bet that Matt has already done his due dilligence, and is preparing a little something.
I would assume that alot of the guys that do the tuning have guys that they know on the inside.
I didn't think Ford could make the front end look any uglier than the 08's, but they sure proved me wrong.
I'll be glad to get one of these since they have the manual shift option on the trans. I hate this automatic I have now
Hell i like the new trucks just as much as the old ones.

Heres the new 2011 SD on Fords website. Mike Rowe talks about it in a short video.

The front looks so much better with the "C" pieces around the front removed. Here's a photo shop somebody else did.

C peices are still there..
They are removed on the top pic (photo shopped). It's the pieces on the ends of the thick horizontal middle bars
Looks like it could improve airflow as well.
is it me or are they trying to make it look like this? [==] LOL im just not sure what to make of it... they're trying to make it look even bigger than the current models? why?? its already the biggest/heaviest truck on the market, aerodynamics of a school bus... cant be good for mileage
I think the dually fenders look crapy but the badge on the fender says 820. I guess that means 820ft lbs of torque. 6 Head bolts per cylinder and it looked like it was "o"ringed (I think could be wrong on that one though). That 6.7 looks like it can make some serious power with the twin compresser wheel turbo. It looks like it has all the makings for a "KING OF THE DYNO" engine.:thumbsup
Actually that is "B20" as in B20 Biodiesel. Chris

Oh! Ok. Like they say, the second thing to go when you get old is your eyes.:roflol:

So I don't see why you couldn't run a higher blend of Biodiesel if they changed the fuel lines and whatnot?
