I was originally going to purchase a Dodge with a Cummins, but for some reason my insurance company wanted to charge me double over a Ford F250. My question is what are the weak points in the truck? It is a 2002 F250 2wd CC SB. The truck has 65k on it. I want to do the tuner, exhaust and air box. Any suggestions? I don't haul anything, just family. I know with the Dodge I could get up to 18mpg around town, what can I expect from the Ford? Thanks for all your help.

Well let me start you off about my truck and you can decide on your own. I have a 2001 F250 Extended Cab 4x4 with the 7.3 and the 6 speed manual. Around town I get around 14-17 MPG, but on the highway I can get up to 22 if I keep it around 65.
