Just survived the Colo Feb blizzard. Truck lives outside, so could have moisture anywhere. Spent hour and half with snow blower clearing the drive. Went to start the beast to back up so I could clear the snow from the rest of the drive and NO CRANK! Hmmmm, never had this happen before. Not that cold, 20F. Pulled key, locked, unlocked doors, heard horn honk, hmmmmm try again, no crank. Dead when key turned to start. Interesting. Pulled key, re insert, put truck in diagnostic mode, no DTCs reported, battery at 11.6. Seems a little low. Tried the key and viola! Starts up, but idles rough for about 10 secs, then all normal.

Wondering if truck 'thought' it was in the anti-theft mode????

Ran around, got coffee, everything normal. Curious!

Any one else see anything like this? :toytruck

I too would like to know. I made a remote start the other day while I was in view of the truck. Lights flashed just like normal, factory remote start, but truck did nothing. I jumped in and started it with the key, and she fired right up.

Seems to have been a one time event. Not even a hiccup since.
