Oil is leaking between vacum pump and timing cover. How hard of a job is this?

Hmmm... lets say you going to need some patience and need to power wash everything well. Once it all power washed dive in...

Dis-assembly is rather easy... Just very confining...

But are you sure its between the gear case and the vacuum pump?

I changed PS pumps before but never changed anything more than that... So going deeper I don't expect much of a change...

Yeah this thing has been leaking sence I bought it 3 years ago. Just couldnt see where it was coming from till I built a wash rack and spent some time cleaning and tracking leak.Coming out the bottom of gasket between timing cover and vac. pump. I wonder if there is a sealent that would hold, like J-B Weld? :D

I think that's a bit much JL... :haha

I suggest you just do it right and pull the PS pump and vacuum pump off and change the gasket or o-ring that is there. No since in doing a half arse job... Just do it right the first time...

I know this a pic for the KDP but... As you can see the vacuum pump gear will just pull out of the gear case. So just pull the thing back change the gasket and be done...
