For a while now i thought that my rear main seal was leaking. I assumed it was because of the location. Today i was under there with the dust cover off the tranny and i noticed it wasnt coming from the rear main, but there was a crack in the oil pan:damnit . i cleaned it all up nice and put a layer of jb weld on it. Hopefully this will temporarily work til i can afford to take the engine out:splat .

as long as you cleaned up the pan real good it should work great...

i did to one of my mustangs years ago as "temp" fix...ended up lasting a couple years until i got rid of the car

Hey i'm new to the site but, I actually have a friend that says he pulled the trans, and lifted the engine a few inches and was able to slide the pan out the back from underneath. Now i'm not sure how true this is but i was actually just starting to look into doing this myself because by buddies 99 is cracked and i would rather pull the (automatic) tranny then the whole motor. I'm also not sure if it would work on the 94 either, but maybe it would be easier for you also.
