Hi guys,
I am helping a friend that has a 1998 E-350 and for the last couple of months the check engine light has been on continously
The code is p0107 something about a barometric pressure sensor out of range, but where the hell is this sensor located?????
Also at cold start ups the van smokes white smoke like hell, but he just changed the injector o-rings
When it warms up the smoke completely clears
Thanx guys,
michael

on the 6.0 that sensor is located below the steering column and hidden behind plastic. i dont know if that is going to help you or not but its worth a shot to change out that sensor before going and doing something more expensive

if its a diesel engine in the van you are wrong, that code is for your map sensor circuit low input

map if its diesel of course, pick up the hanes repair book for the super duty/diesel engine book and it will tell you what it means for gas motor or diesel, gas is barometric/manifold pressure and diesel is map sensor low output
