Have a 3406 that I converted from a peec to manual. Been about a year since I did the conversion, just letting you know what we are working with. I did a oil change and found bearings on the plug and I'll try to post a pic. I thought they were from the thrust in the injection pump but took it apart and they are fine and the needles I found are a little longer than the ones in the pump. Any ideas As I'm about to quit looking for it. Also did a inframe within the last two years so I know they haven't been in the pan long.
The photo I have won't load so I'll try later to load it again. The bearing I found looks just like the ones in the thrust that are in the injection pump except they are about a 1/16 " longer. Thanks for any help.
