i was reading this on the 6.7 pcm lock.
I'm not 100% sure how the pcm works, as in "lock out"
seems logical that each vehicle will have same code to "unlock" the pcm,(like f350 dually)
because too much to keep track of...Unless you use a code in the vin number!
then its logical to have a different pcm code for each vehicle. Each has its own vin number, or maybe use the vehicle number!
if it is one code...if i was spartan or any other..i wouldn't want to announce you broke the code until the vehicles are getting built with one code. Because they have time to change it between now and then...then they (spartan,etc...) would possibly have to start over to unlock it!
