Does anyone have the torque specifications for Perkins 2506C engine, it works on a Genset.

If you don't get a response send a PM to french277 (member here) that guy is pretty sharp, I've spoken to him over the phone a few times. Tell him I sent you , lol .

Sorry none of my prkins book have this motor in it.call this compony they are perkins dist.I was dealing with Power of greatlake in Chicogo they were very hard to deal with .This place found parts for my that PGL couldn't or wouldn't their parts lady id very sharp.http://www.detroitdieselpartsdirect.com/

I think Perkins is the same as Cat. Or atleast I am pretty sure Cat owns Perkins.

Yes you are correct Cat owns Perkins, however they allow Perkins to operate under their original name. The new series engines from Perkins are really cat inventions.

The 2506 Perkins is very close to cat 3406E.

Anyway thanks everyone, I have been able to get hold of the information that I needed
