From my experience pulling with mostly stock trucks, the longer wheel based trucks don't hop much any way, I never did, and neither did any friends of mine. Not sure if we just got lucky, or the little bit of setup was right.
ease out of the hole, run rigid suspension in the rear, clamp the springs, and move your seat as close to the steering wheel as possible so that your foot cant come up and down on the go pedal, this will induce hopping also
if u are running with the dhra u must have one inch of suspension travel some guys just shim out there stock bump stops and a good set of traction bars dhra also does not allow hanging waits in work stock but most local events u should beable to run a rigid suspension and hang waits
