Does a 02 3500 have four wheel disk brakes. If not is there a kit available to convert to 4 wheel disk?

Correct... 2001.5-2002 models had rear disc brakes.

I've got a 2002 2500 with them... The only thing I ran into is that groove that in the ends of the pads need to be clean now and then if you drive through mud and snow. Other than that they tend to bind up and drag.

But at 120,000 miles now and got over 75% of my stock pads left yet... :wow

Not hard at all...

1. Remove both 1/2" bolts.

2. Pull the caliper.

3. Look at where the pads slide on the rails. Slide the pads out and lightly file the square grooves till you see fresh metal.

4. Check for fit. They should slide in easy and not bind at all.

5. Reassemble.

Here is what from Nov to Feb was like for me...

Now I'm in the mud season... Lots of it...:poke:

he pictures you list look a lot like where I am but we are not supposed to get that much snow here in cali. I found the groove issue and it ate my passenger side pads on my truck up front. now I keep them clean. that tip will help.
