My 93 f350 has a 410 rear gears and I was wanting to put 355 in diff
How hard will that be?
No harder to do than any other axle but you will need to swap the differential case also. It is a different size 4.10 ratio and higher, (lower numerically, i.e. 3.55). You won't be really pleased pulling much weight with a 3.55 ratio; 3.73 is marginal, especially with the trans your truck has.

I finally got rid of the 410 gear and replaced it with a 355. A total different truck the 1st gear is amazing. Finally fuel mileage that's much better. And on the road wow great
Performance. I advise this, and it didn't cost much. About 300 and I used synthetic in
Case.
