I have three uncapped wires, red, white and blue, that are not connected to anything just above the fuse box inside the engine compartment in front of the drivers side. Anyone have any idea what they are for?

Look in the OWNERS MANUEL and it will tell you. Even if you dont have the upfitter switch option the wire harness is still their. Its a cool option because all the switches are fused already.

dawg,

My '07 has 4 wires. Ford calls them "Pass-Thru" wires. They allow us to wire up extra lights, etc., with out having to punch a hole in the firewall. The wires are in additon to the SEIC / PTO bundled wires. Fleet Ford has good info on the Upfitter switches, SEIC/PTO wiring, and the pass thru wires.
