I have three uncapped wires, red, white and blue, that are not connected to anything just above the fuse box inside the engine compartment in front of the drivers side. Anyone have any idea what they are for?
My '07 has 4 wires. Ford calls them "Pass-Thru" wires. They allow us to wire up extra lights, etc., with out having to punch a hole in the firewall. The wires are in additon to the SEIC / PTO bundled wires. Fleet Ford has good info on the Upfitter switches, SEIC/PTO wiring, and the pass thru wires.
