Just what the topic says.. What's the highest allowable boost level that a 24V Cummins can hold without blowing the lid? I've seen levels of 22 and 23 PSI on the interstate and I didn't know what "too high" was.. What do I need to keep the boost PSI under?

They say 32psi is the safe level but i have seen them run at55psi and not have problems

35 psi for the turbo, but 45 psi for the engine

thats what ive always thought. and about 50psi for the headgasket. ive saw about 52 out of my old truck once but it heated like crazy.

I've seen 48 briefly. I usually try to keep it below 40.
